Hey everyone! My name is Samantha Marquez.I am an actress from New York City. My passion for acting began to blossom at the age of 12 and never stopped growing. I am of Puerto Rican heritage and was born in the Bronx.

As a teenager I participated in local New York Pageants and did background work for a few independent films and MTV. I also joined my high school’s Drama Club to learn more about the craft. The more I learned the more my love for the arts grew.

I studied with an amazing coach Lynette Sheldon at Lynette Sheldon’s Actors Studio in NYC, where I Studied the Stella Adler/ Stanislavski Technique, Scene Study and Character Development with Improvisation. Lynette’s teachings, passion and encouragement lit the fire I always had burning inside for escaping into characters and this other magical world she made me feel certain that this was my calling. Currently I am continuing to hone my craft and am studying Theatre at LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City, New York.
